Save on travel across London and the South East! Get 1/3 off adult fares and 60% off kids’ fares (ages 5–15). Children aged 0-4 travel free.

When you can use it

  • Weekends and Bank Holidays (anytime)
  • Monday-Friday from 10am onwards
  • Minimum fare: £13 on weekdays, so you won’t get the full discount on cheaper fares
  • You can travel slightly before 10am from some stations. See the list of easements at the bottom of this page.

Where it’s valid

  • Valid for journeys entirely within the Network Railcard area, which covers London and the South East.
  • The Network Railcard area extends to:
    • West: Exeter, Bedwyn, Didcot, Worcester
    • North: Banbury, Northampton, Bedford, Huntington
    • East: Kings Lynn, Manningtree
    • South: the South Coast
  • Popular destinations include: Oxford, Cambridge, Portsmouth, Reading, Richmond, Southampton, Winchester, Windsor & Eton, Brighton, Southend, Canterbury, Bournemouth
  • Check the official map for exact coverage. Note: Some destinations are only valid on specific routes (e.g. via Honiton to Exeter).

Who it’s for

  • Anyone! No age or other restrictions.
  • You’ll need to provide a clear photo of the cardholder.
  • Great for family trips:
    • Covers the named cardholder, plus up to 3 adults (1/3 off)
    • Up to 4 children (ages 5-15) get 60% off the child fare
    • Children aged 0-4 travel for free
    • Everyone must travel together and stay within the Network Railcard area

What gets discounted

  • Yes (1/3 off adults, 60% off children):
    • Standard class Off-Peak and Super Off-Peak tickets, including London Travelcards, and equivalent tickets like Evening Out or Sunday Out
    • Standard class Anytime tickets, including London Travelcards (if travelling in evening peak)
    • PlusBus tickets for local bus travel
  • No:
    • Group fares (e.g. Family Travelcards)
    • First class tickets
    • Advance tickets
    • Eurostar or heritage railway services
